We are the Jones Family from New York City's vibrant East Village neighborhood. My wife and I are both architects...we love art and architecture... and I love photographing all aspects of our travel expeditions. Our 9 year old is already filling up her passport and enjoys discovering the joys of Europe. We caught the international travel bug a few years ago, and now we love to explore different cultures and to see the great big world that is out there!

Beautiful! Praying for Nice!!
Yes it was amazing when I went with my dad and mom. It was beautiful because we got to stay in front the ocean and see wonderful stuff I might only be 11 (writing this as older) but it was amazing going into a lot of food places and other stuff in the area. In Nice there is a lot of attractions including, parks, churches, restaurants, oceans, and many more. I would totally recommend reading more of the Jones family blog and traveling to the wonderful places our family has been to.

My heart goes out to Nice. I thought of you and your family so much.
Prayers are with everyone.
Wow! So beautiful!! Keep those memories.
I am so glad you have these beautiful memories to look back on as you navigate the recent events.
I checked out your site after seeing it on Fodors. Did you arrive in Nice the day after the terrorist attack? I am glad your family was safe. We were there 8 days before but spent Bastille Day Night in Paris at the Eiffel Tower. When we got back to the hotel, I had worried messages from family and turned on the news. Our hotel in Nice was extremely close to where it happened, and I know we would have been right in the middle of it if we had still been there. I will read more of your site. Our family loves to travel too. If you are interested, I have a site at http://www.danwoodlief.com. I am restructuring it a bit at the moment, if it seems a little messy.
